Last weekend we were very proud to have been an exhibitor in Liverpool’s Laces Out Festival
at the Camp & Furnace. In its 2nd
year the festival has already established itself as a go-to event in the calendar, particularly for those of us with a penchant for wonderful webs.
2014, the festival’s first year saw over 1000 come through the doors of the Camp & Furnace. This year the event doubled in size and we were so happy to be a part of it. By all accounts the organisers are looking to develop the festival into a series of events as opposed to just an annual festival, such has been the success so far.
Our trusty team of… Ricci head honcho Marc and colleague David were in attendance with a plethora of our best footwear in tow.
The event was sound tracked by the brilliant Might Mojo on the decks, a C&F resident. For trainer addicts amongst us the event was just absolute heaven… and you could do so much more than just lay your hands on a rare or favourite pair of trainers. There was Cutthroat Pete
, a barbering genius, offering up the latest cuts to match your sharp sneakers as well as an all-day bar… which is never a bad thing!

Alongside other fantastic independents like Lost Art and Ran we showcased some of our most sought after and exciting ranges, including… Y3 Yohji Yamamoto
, Adidas Porsche Design
and Versace Collection
and just to be a bit different, some Brogues
by Oliver Sweeney.
It was great to be part of a festival that celebrates a sub-culture often neglected by the mainstream and one that also champions and supports local and independent business.
We can’t wait to attend again the next instalment! Make sure you follow the festival on Twitter - @LacesOutFest
and be first in line for tickets.
